Terms & Conditions
These terms cover use of this website and set out clearly what Built Still does and does not undertake. They are written for a construction context, where getting this wrong matters.

By using this website you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site. Where your business enters into a separate written agreement with us for the supply of software or services, that agreement governs the supply, and these website terms do not vary it.

The information on this website is general in nature and is provided for information only. It is not legal advice, health-and-safety advice, engineering advice or professional advice of any kind, and it must not be relied on as a statement of what is required in any particular situation. Where a matter affects the safety of people on site, or your legal position, take appropriate professional advice.
Any product interface shown on this website is illustrative. Screens, records, statuses, timestamps, names, identifiers and counts shown are example data created for the purpose of explanation. They do not represent real customers, real sites, real projects, real workers or real records.
Product capabilities and scope
Descriptions of what the platform does on this website are descriptions of the product concept. What is actually available to any particular business depends on the scope agreed with that business in writing. Nothing on this website is a commitment that a specific feature, module, configuration or capability is or will be included in any deployment.
Features and functionality may change. We may add, alter or withdraw functionality, and the website may not reflect the current state of any deployed product at any given time.
No compliance or safety guarantee
Built Still is designed to support site compliance administration and record keeping. We do not guarantee, and nothing on this website should be read as a guarantee, that:
- your business will be legally compliant;
- any site, activity, workplace or item of equipment is safe;
- any audit, inspection or assessment will be passed;
- any accident, incident or injury will be prevented or reduced;
- any document, record or process will be accepted by any client, regulator or scheme.
We hold no approval, certification or accreditation from any regulator or industry scheme in relation to this software, and we make no claim of any such status.
Competent persons and duties
The platform does not replace competent persons, health-and-safety professionals, site supervision, risk assessment, professional advice, statutory obligations or the responsibilities of relevant duty holders. Those responsibilities remain exactly where they sat before the software was introduced.
Site managers, supervisors and duty holders remain responsible for real-world safety on site, regardless of what any system records.
RAMS
The platform supports the distribution, acknowledgement and retention of RAMS documents prepared elsewhere. It does not generate RAMS, does not review them and does not assess their suitability, sufficiency or legal adequacy. Whether a RAMS document is appropriate to the specific work and site conditions remains a separate matter for competent preparation and review.
Inspections
Inspection functionality provides a structure for recording checks. It does not determine what should be checked, how often, or by whom. Checklists must be appropriate to the activity and should be completed by appropriately competent persons where required. Inspection records support documentation but do not themselves establish that work, equipment or a workplace is legally compliant or safe.
Incidents and reporting
Incident functionality supports structured record keeping and follow-up. Separate investigation, escalation and statutory reporting obligations may apply and must be assessed separately by the business and its advisers. The platform does not notify regulators, does not submit statutory reports and does not determine whether an event is reportable.
Electronic acknowledgement
Digital sign-off can support acknowledgement and completion records where configured. An electronic acknowledgement recorded in the platform does not automatically satisfy every legal requirement that might apply to a signature, a consent, a confirmation of competence or a form of record keeping. Requirements vary by context, and you should take your own advice on whether an electronic acknowledgement is adequate for your purposes.
No claim is made regarding identity verification, biometric authentication, tamper resistance, chain of custody or cryptographic proof.
Availability
We do not guarantee that this website or any software will be available at all times, without interruption or free from error. Access may be suspended, withdrawn or restricted, including for maintenance. Where a separate agreement sets out service levels, those terms apply to the supply covered by that agreement.
Data quality and accuracy
Records reflect what is entered into them. The quality, accuracy and completeness of any record depend entirely on the information submitted by the people using the product. The customer remains responsible for accurate record keeping, for configuring the product to suit its own processes, and for ensuring that people using it understand what is expected of them.
Third-party services
This website and any deployed product may rely on third-party services, such as hosting, email and — where you consent — analytics. Those services are subject to their own terms and privacy arrangements. Links to external websites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content.
Intellectual property
The content, design, branding, wording and visual identity of this website belong to Built Still Ltd or are used with permission, and may not be copied or reproduced without consent. Photographs sourced from Unsplash are used under the Unsplash License and remain the work of their respective photographers.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for any loss or damage arising from use of, or reliance on, information published on this website. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Where your business has a written agreement with us, the liability provisions of that agreement apply to the supply it covers.
Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising out of them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
